Help get Greens elected.

Green Party members across the country are hard at work right now -- delivering leaflets, sweating over press releases and navigating crumbling basement staircases as they canvass for support in May 1 elections.

And this is work that should produce results.

In London we’re aiming to double the number of representatives on the GLA; in Kirklees we could well pick up our fifth seat; in Oxford we’re working on gaining seats; and we expect to win our first seats in Colchester, Reading and Cambridge.

But hard labour, great representatives, and policies to tackle climate change, social injustice and the drive to war are not enough – the Green Party campaign also needs cash to deliver its message effectively.

It costs £20 to print 100 glowing green window posters, £100 to print a ward newsletter, thousands of pounds to produce an election broadcast.

We in the Green Party don’t have dodgy billionaire donors, we don’t take dirty money from grubby big businesses, we’re not in the pockets of media barons, but that means that we do have to ask party members like you to dig deep, to contribute as much as you can.

The campaign has already had donations ranging from £10 to £6,000 – and all are greatly valued and carefully used to extract the best possible value from every penny.
In Norwich last May we missed out on the council seat that would have taken us to being the official opposition on the council, overtaking the Lib Dems, by just ONE VOTE.

YOUR CASH could be the contribution that takes us over the line.

You can do that easily and simply through this website, using a credit or debit card, or by downloading a form to send us a cheque.
